- If there is a bleeding wound, place a sterile gauze and bite for 15 minutes. Renew the gauze until it rages.
- Before the anaesthetic wears off, take a painkiller of your choice (not aspirin) and do not expect to start getting hurt first.
- Immediately after surgery and for 3-4 hours use a cold packout of the mouth, respectively in the area of intervention.
- Avoid smoking and alcohol for the time indicated to you.
- Avoid hot and hard food on the day of surgery.
- Avoid intense physical exercise and sunbathing on the day of surgery.
- Avoid brushing teeth around the surgical site for one week.
- In cases of implant or graft placement, avoid the hard food for the time you will be given.
- In any case, follow closely the medication you have prescribed.
